High season rate: $880 + taxes /day
Low season rate: $750 + taxes /day
Up The Creek is available for group bookings where the complete facility can be rented for exclusive use. During our high season (May through October) the property can accommodate up to 26 individuals in three rooms, one cabin, three 2- person tent spaces and one small RV parking spot. Low season group bookings do not include the tent spaces and RV parking.
The room/bed configuration for 26 people is as follows:
- Cherry Cabin- 2 persons in one double bed
- Fir room- 4 persons in one queen bed and 2 single bunks (1 upper)
- Cedar room- 5 persons in one queen bed and 3 single bunks (2 upper)
- Arbutus room- 7 persons in 7 single bunks (2 upper)
- Backpacker size tent spots, three x 2 persons each
- Small RV parking (max 15′) , one only, 2 persons max
All beds come made up with linen, duvet, 2 pillows and one shower towel per bed. Unlike individual bookings, no stripping of beds is expected by customers upon check-out. No sleeping bags please. No sleeping in the lounge is permitted. (We will wake you up!)
The check-in time of 4pm and check-out time of 11am may be varied by advance arrangement with management, but is charged at $50/hour or part hour
Off street parking is available for maximum 5 well-parked cars. We encourage guests to park off street if possible, out of respect for our neighbours. Carpooling is recommended, or better still, use our transit system or come by bicycle.
Groups wishing to use the common areas of the property for daytime meetings, seminars, meditation, yoga, etc may do so with the additional charge of $150 + taxes per day.
Group bookings are payable two weeks in advance, and require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon booking. E-transfer only. A damage deposit of $500 is also required at the time of full payment, which will be returned by E-transfer on the day of departure.
Damage to the property or contents will be charged at 2 x replacement value.
Please note that there will always be a manager and/or volunteer onsite during your stay, and that reasonable quiet enjoyment of the property is expected. Quiet time outside is strictly 11pm. Complaints received after this hour, or the requirement to request guests move inside, will be charged at the cost of $100/occurrence, deducted from the damage deposit provided.
Up The Creek will require a designated person for text contact during the course of the stay (not the bride or groom for a wedding booking)
Up The Creek staff will of course keep bathrooms, kitchen and common areas clean and tidy during the group stay, but guests are expected to keep the lodge reasonably tidy upon leaving the property, overnight and at check out time.
